The post notes that women have shaped freedom and justice movements across centuries, yet the examples given are only briefly sketched. I wonder how the 339 Manumissions project approaches recovering the names and stories of enslaved women whose records were often filtered through legal documents written by others. That gap between presence and documentation seems central to doing this history carefully.

Been using Pico Image for a while now for resizing and compressing images. It runs entirely in the browser so nothing gets uploaded to a server, which I find reassuring. Background removal works pretty well too, saves me from opening heavier software for simple tasks.
