On Apriil 15, 1776, Dinah, a most notable slave, recieved her freedom papers or manumisssion on this day. Dinah was enslaved by William and Hannah Logan, she was a servant at the Stenton House in Philadelphia,PA .

If you recall, Dinah is the person responsible for saving their home from being burned to the ground during the revolutionary war.
